Atlanta Cutlery Corp. Announces Extension to Current Military Contract

Conyers, GA (PRWEB) October 26, 2009 -- Atlanta Cutlery today announced that they have been selected by the U.S. Department of Defense to continue production for their Marine Corps NCO saber. Atlanta Cutlery's relations with the U.S. military goes back to the mid 90's. However, they have been manufacturing combat knives for the British Ministry of Defence for the past 70 years.

The expanded military collection (http://www.atlantacutlery.com/c-117-military-swords.aspx) consists of models that meet government specs from all major branches of the U.S. military and include Officers and NCO sabers for the Marines, Navy, Army, Air Force, West Point and the Coast Guard. The line consists of current issue pieces and many of their historical counterparts, so you can follow the development and collect the military history over its evolution. Every one of these pieces is available to military personnel and civilians and provides a unique opportunity to complete your dress blues, collect and educate through genuine history. Also available are scale-down miniatures of these sabers, which come with a nice stand making them suitable for display and use as letter openers.

"We're extremely proud to have the confidence of the U.S. Military and that any contract overruns can be supplied to our customers, giving the chance to buy a genuine issue piece," said Ranit Windlass, Vice President of ACC.
