Unboxing the Limited Edition Benchmade Model 51Dec 16, 2011 This looks much better in person than in photos. The scales are hunter green and the liners are anodized gold titanium. The special feature of this knife is the S30V blade which can be found in the Bradley Mayhem Balisong. Excellent look and materials.

Benchmade 805 TSEK M390 Steel Limited Edition Tip up or Tip down Axis Lock Folder Part 1Apr 16, 2012 This is a table top review of the Benchmade 805-1101 TSEK. You can watch my cutting test here: www.youtube.com This knife is a limited run of a discontinued model made for Knifeworks.com Here are the specs: Made in the USA Overall Length: 9.36" Closed Length: 5.43" Blade Length: 3.93" Blade Thickness: 0.125" Blade Material: M390 Super Steel (Takes a razors edge and keeps it well). Blade Hardness: 58-60 Blade Style: Modified Drop-Point Weight: 4.10oz. Pocket Clip: Chrome, Reversible, Tip-Up OR Tip-Down (4 possible positions) Lock Mechanism: AXIS I'm sending this knife to Benchmade to have the tip reground. After that, regardless of the result, it will be my everyday knife. I hope to post a TSEK part 2 video showing the result of the factory rework and some vigorous cutting tests. I first opened this knife on 03/25/11. I don't mean to bad mouth collectors, Benchmades are truly a good investment. Collecting just isn't for me, I feel like they are made to cut! *Correction* I recently found out that there is at least one other Benchmade that has an axis lock & tip down carry. I discovered that the Benchmade 720 had these features along with the 805 tesk & 806 afck. 
Benchmade 805 TSEK M390 Steel Limited Edition Part 2: Service Results and Cutting TestMay 05, 2012 I got my Benchmade 805 TSEK back from being serviced at the factory. I sent it back almost brand new because the blade had factory defects. Here are the results... The blade is still off-center and the tip is still ground funny. The very, very light dings I got from dropping it are gone because Benchmade sharpened it. I am still very disappointed because of Benchmade's inability to stand by their warranty. They are seriously hurting there reputation for excellent craftsmanship. If this knife were a Kershaw it would have undoubtedly been sold as a discounted factory blemish. Please see Part 1 for my table top review of this knife for more details. My cutting test: 550 parachute cord glossy catalog paper phone book paper single wall cardboard pine 2x2 In my opinion, this knife killed the cutting test. FUDGE YES. Although the pocket clip didn't hurt or get in the way while cutting, I am going to carry it tip up from now on. Using the Axis lock is MUCH easier and convenient when the pocket clip is set up for tip up carry. Despite it's flaws, I love this knife! It is my every day carry knife and It will stay with me forever. Not only does it have sentimental value, it has a great design. The flaws aren't bad enough for me to want to send it in a second time. I am just disappointed that Benchmade's quality control and service is slipping while their prices gradually get higher...

Limited Edition Benchmade Mini Barrage Preview - "Simply Striking"May 09, 2012 Just wanted to quickly show you guys my new limited edition Mini Barrage. I hope you can tell that I am just enamored by the gorgeous colour of this blade. This is just a quick preview of the blade, since I haven't put it through use. I'm normally not a 'safe queen' type of person, and usually use all my knives, but this one holds some sentimental value for me :) I purchased it from warriorsandwonders.com for $120 (CAD or USD). Benchmade Ascent 834 Limited Edition Knife only 300 made.Apr 01, 2012 I like this knife because it has a US flag on it and it was a limited edition Benchmade, only 300 made. I like the materials and form and fit in the hand. Overall, a solid knife for anyone. 
Knife Review: Benchmade Adamas 275 (Limited 1000 piece black g10)Apr 18, 2012 Awesome heavy duty folder from Benchmade. My view on the sheath is that if a company is going to include a bonus item with the product, they should make sure that the item does not "bring down" the product by creating a sloppy first impression. In this case, the first thing you would see when you open the box is a very poorly stitched sheath, which did not hinder the functionality or performance, but did not look of the same quality level as the knife. Benchmade Ares Limited EditionDec 11, 2011 Not much to say right here other than this is definately one of my many favorites but sits a little higher than the rest as far as collectability in my book. Fanstastic knife, fantastic design, excellent flipper, smooth slow actio opener, as well as can be a lightening fast self protection blade.
